TWENTY65 academics invited to present evidence at joint Defra and Environment Agency workshop related to Grand Challenges of Water

Emma Westling, Liz Sharp and Ali Browne from TWENTY65 were invited to present their perspectives on the grand challenges for water efficiency at the Joint Evidence Water Programme (JWWP) workshop organised by Defra and the Environment Agency on the 6th of June, Westminster, London.
The workshop invited academics, government researchers and policy makers to identify future challenges for water, how research can best inform long-term plans and the evidence required to deliver policy change for environmental improvements.
The aim of the workshop was to support policy makers in focusing on long term challenges to the water environment. The workshop addressed four thematic areas: Theme 1 Our changing water environment, Theme 2 Water and agriculture, Theme 3 Water efficiency and Theme 4 Interventions and management.
